Embroidery is occupying my hands and my attention at the moment, so I went to see Dovecot Studios' current exhibition May Morris: Art & Life and marvelled at the artistry, technical skill, and astonishing output of William Morris's daughter.
The show is about to close, but the book May Morris: Arts & Crafts Designer (ISBN: 978-0-500-48021-2) is an excellent substitute or accompaniment.

Nicki Franklin at The Stitchery - whose Spring Wreath design I finished the other day - has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund an expansion to her business. She reached her target amount in no time, but should you wish to you can pledge your support until 5th. April.

I can't mention embroidery without providing another link to Mary Addison whose work is always a delight.
I am pretty certain this was the same exhibition that I saw in the William Morris house in Walthamstow a couple of years ago. Exquisite!

Yes, I think you're right, Fran. I missed it then so was very glad to see it here.

You're welcome, Toffeeapple; blogs such as Mary's are particularly valuable as small bright spots in these difficult days.
