Looking back on the year by means of my Instagram #bestnine:
Top row: 'She is too fond of books' socks; priest's door, St. Mary's, Luppitt; my own front door.
Middle row: wool from Miss Click Clack; High Jinks tea towel from the Bodleian shop; homegrown 'Blue Ball' cornflowers, seeds from Higgledy Garden.
Bottom row: 'Hundreds & Thousands' socks; Magdalen Great Tower from Cloisters; cards by Celia Hart.

Now to look forward.
My thanks to everyone who stops by Cornflower; your visits, comments, good nature, helpful links and advice are much appreciated.
May 2017 be an excellent year on all fronts.
Happy and Prosperous New Year to you!

Thanks Cornflower, I check out your book recommendations and have enjoyed many, I look up your knitting patterns -am currently knitting the honey cowl- and am impressed by your sock knitting! but I don't usually comment. Thanks for the blog.

Happy New Year Cornflower. I envy your knitting ability, I'm not crafty at all but enjoy looking at others' handiwork.

Happy New Year Cornflower. Your IG best nine certainly gives a flavour of the posts here and over on books. Always interesting, and so often informative; a new sock pattern to try or a book recommendation ..... looking forward to seeing what 2017 brings here. Thank you!
