Pictureless post

My internet connection isn't letting me post pictures just now, so instead of what I had planned for today here's a link to the site of Japanese embroiderer Yumiko Higuchi whose beautiful work I've just come across. (I've added her forthcoming book to my wish list.)

I've never seen her work before.It's very attractive and very distinctive isn't it. She uses chain stitches (I think they are ?) very effectively.
