Just a little later than planned, this wool has become these socks.
Had I paid attention to 'colour management' I could have made them match, but they are none the worse for being slightly out of step, I think.
This was the first time I've used self-patterning yarn and it was a lot of fun.

I have this yarn still sitting in my basket. I like how it works in your socks with the plain yarn for cuffs, heels and toes. Might have to copy them!

Lovely! I'm not fussed about matching, either.
Today I shall finish a pair of plain, long socks which were quite boring to make and then it's back to self patterning for me.
