Old Year's Day

I learned today that in Iceland the 31st of December is called Gamlársdagur or Old Year's Day, so to bid farewell to 2015 here's an auto-generated collage of recent pictures.

We call it 'Oud Jaar' and 'Oude Jaars Avond',which translated would be very similar to the Icelandic: Old Year and Old Year's Eve.

Happy new year and thank you for all the inspiration. I've just finished the Vedbaek shawl and will start the Just Knit It tomorrow, a fitting beginning to the new year after a sober evening in with aged dog who is petrified of fireworks.
