Reynard Sock (there's only one so far) by Kirsten Kapur in The Uncommon Thread Lush Twist, colourway 'Coven'.
By the way, I must apologise for the quality of these photographs; try as I might I couldn't get a decent picture, but they give the general idea.
How amusing. The intricate lacework pattern on top of your lovely sock is reminiscent of the Gothic patterns at the Midland Grand Hotel!!
Confidence in knitting socks is certainly happening Karen, given the attempt at such complexed patterns and stitches.
Well done!

Yes, all that 'tracery' made with tiny cables and twisted stitches! It wasn't difficult, but a bit fiddly; the rest of the sock was plain sailing.

Wasn't difficult! It really looks very difficult and the result is lovely.

Thank you! You have to keep your wits about you, but the pattern is very clearly written, and I imagine the second cuff will go rather more quickly than the first now that I've got the hang of it.
