Friday flowers - softly, softly

Madame Alfred Carrière is still flowering, many months on from the first bloom of the year. She is truly a good value rose, vigorous, healthy, and floriferous, and while she doesn't last terribly long in the vase, her form, delicate colour and scent give pleasure while they are there.
