Cassandra

Ha! I can only imagine how beautiful that smells.

Liz Davey

I am jealous. I bought the same sweet pea collection, saw one flower one day and then nothing. I suspect something is eating the buds, or for some reason they are not maturing. I was particularly looking forward to them because I love the jewel colours and, of course, the scent. On the other hand, the lilies I bought from SR three years ago just get better and better. Win some, lose some!

Mary

I was given a lovely posy of sweet peas yesterday, I recognise Matucana but I don't know the names of all the others. I've had Liz's experience trying to grow my own.

Cornflower

I go out every day and pick off any snails and greenfly I see (I've also put sand round the plants), and so far damage has been minimal.
