Thanks to the Sewing Bee*, I seem to have acquired a couple of modest-sized pieces of fabric with small projects from this book in mind, though I suspect this is a slippery slope for the more I look, the more I fancy ....
*Very glad to hear there is to be another series and that it will run over six episodes rather than four, and if you haven't seen the programme but would like a quick rundown, Simon has an entertaining one here.
And you are giving up what in order to expand your range of activities?
:-)) Enjoy!

Ooooh Karen!! What are you going to make? I have this book too and have always loved tana lawn since childhood. I too watched the Sewing Bee - with some scepticism at first I must admit. But I absolutely loved it. Stuart!!! So pleased Ann won. What an inspiration; she sews every day! I have not done any dressmaking for many years and I must admit it has inspired me to think about maybe a top or two for this summer. Great TV. I look forward to seeing the results of your sewing projects. Whilst I have the greatest respect for DP's contributions, I always think of you as an excellent 'starter/finisher' so full steam ahead I say.....

Dear Ann, I am certain this will be both started and finished! Just teasing Karen a little ...

I probably won't knit for a bit (not that I've done much of that lately ...)

You are kind, Anne - I usually get there in the end but sometimes it takes me an age to finish things!
I thought I might make one or two of the smaller things in the book, e.g. the notebook covers or the keepsake board. I'd love to do a hexagons quilt, but I'm sure that would be on the go for years.

You are right to ask me how I'm going to fit in anything else. Something may have to be jettisoned!!
