I'm sure that without a nudge from fellow Phoebe Anna Traquair enthusiast Adèle this morning I'd have missed this afternoon's Radio 4 programme Murals, the first of three stories by writer Morven Crumlish inspired by the work of the artist. I shall listen with great interest, having visited more than once what is now referred to as Edinburgh's Sistine Chapel, the Mansfield Traquair Centre, and seen her workd in other locations.

I do miss Radio 4 which is always on when I am on Bute.

Another fan here. I must make a pilgrimage to the Mansfield Traquair Centre before I get too much older.

It's a great pity that you can't get it at home, Shirley. We have a digital radio which seems to let us pick up an enormous number of foreign stations, but perhaps it doesn't work for everything or every country.
