I read all of that Hopkins poem and there isn't a feline in it!

Hi - I'm so glad you found Robert Macfarlane's beautiful film via my blog! That clip - and the whole film - is such a treat to watch; full of that very special mesmerising quality of his writing... Thanks so much for linking back - I'm loving your blogs. So much to explore and discover!

Thankyou so much Melanie, and I'm glad I found your lovely blog!
(We're big fans of Robert Macfarlane's here).

I would have loved to watch the bluebell clip. It doesn't appear that the BBC wants those of us in Australia to view it! I've tried on Bookish Nature blog and on the BBC's site but without luck. I have fond memories of picking huge bunches of bluebells in Hockley Woods in Essex in the mid 60s. The blue haze and the perfume was magical.
