Ribbed handwarmers: one down, one to go. Pattern from The Purl Bee, yarn, 'Ochil' 100% Falkland merino (superwash), from The Yarn Yard.
Total length: 10 3/4", so they come well up the forearm for extra toastiness, but of course you could make them shorter.
Edited to add: Natalie's Making Monday post (one with a difference) is here.
That is really lovely! I feel the need to borrow the pair (and a suitable model) and head off to Morgana.

Very nice - just the thing for the cold weather today. I prefer the longer length.

It looks lovely, Karen! As a novice knitter I can only but admire your craftmanship, and hope that one day I'll be able to knit something as nice!

Thanks, Zoe. The recipient is someone who feels the cold but works with their hands, so the longer the better.

You're very kind, Miriana, but they are really easy to make!

Not nearly glamorous enough for Morgana, I feel.

I'll ask her in a couple of weeks!
