I wondered why it was so busy over at my blog this evening! Thanks for mentioning my Gregory Peck story, apart from anything else, mum is tickled :)

Cornflower

It's a lovely story, and now I can say I know a man whose mother once met Gregory Peck! It's like that song "I danced with a man who'd danced with a girl who'd danced with the Prince of Wales..."

Michael Faulkner

LoL :) I must ask mum if she ever danced with the Prince of Wales..

Dancing Beastie

Oh! Two Gregory Peck posts in a week or so - swoon!

I see my excellent eyesight puts me at a great disadvantage ...

For those of you who would like to own vintage spectacles, I refer you to the wonderful Dead Men's Spex; don't worry female vintage fans, they have a wide range of "ladies" styles too.

Even if I still had the specs I never had the profile!

Re specs: my 2 pairs have frames found at the Salvation Army for $1.50 each. They were made by Brooks Brothers and Laura Ashley for original costs between $90 and $100 and I am in love with them both. Our optician is used to our antics and no longer complains when we present found frames. Saves us a lot of money also.

Cornflower

What a bargain - and what an obliging optician!
