The white gables and chimneys you can just see hard by the castle esplanade there are 'the other side' of Ramsay Garden.

I love the houses in Ramsey Gardens, the way they cling to the side of the hill, and in such contrast to the surrounding buildings.

I know Ramsey Gardens well, I had a friend who had the top but one flat many years ago. I used to spend a week with her during the festival. By the end of the Tatto she could recite the whole thing as it happened. We once watched it from a balcony in one of the small turrets on the top.
