Beautiful leaves and beautiful knitting, love the colours.

What a beautiful scarf. So airy and delicate. Have really been struggling through my first lace scarves this month, and they aren't nearly so complex! K x

Claire

My skills are not up to putting links in here but if Clem puts "Toastpatternwrist warmers" into Google she should get a pattern that might be of use. I have made them and I think they would suit her yarn very well.

Cornflower

Thankyou, Claire, I think these are the ones: http://a-friend-to-knit-with.blogspot.com/2008/09/toasttoasty.html
Just the thing!

Rebecca

Just what I was going to suggest, I plan to make some more of Leslie's Toast when I am on holiday next week, very quick and simple equals huge gratification!

Claire

Thank you, Cornflower. I have "saved" that link now. Quite a few fans of the Toast wristwarmers out there!

Thank you all. I will give them a whirl!

Karoline

Beautiful scarf, it reminds me that I need to dig mine out and get it blocked

Oxslip

Beautiful, lucky recipient - and a year is nothing, esp given your prolific output of other craft, cakes, photos, writing, books read and who knows what else

Darlene

What do you think of this one?

Looks nice and seems quite basic.

Becky

and with me from the internet once again: I think there's a pattern called "dashing" that matches the women's one, called "fetching." If you google, they should show up!

Neuroknitter

Lovely scarf! I so love images of knitting in the garden!!

GeraniumCat

The scarf is beautiful! Made me want to do some lace knitting again, though less complicated, but first I need some of those wristwarmers - my hands get very cold while I'm working and they loook just perfect. Thanks for the link.
