While looking for something else, I came across this article (though its advice must now be so last year...) which says that if you've cracked the pashmina you can graduate on to other scarves, "successful scarf-wearing being the PhD of clothes" - though it helps to be Debo or Marilyn Monroe!
That is a gorgeous scarf, love the colours.

I adore scarves and am always so happy when it's scarf season again. Yours is simply gorgeous. Any hints where I could find one? I promise not to wear it on the same day :) K x

Kristina, it was a present from a friend in Australia.

Your fashion correspondent speaks ...
I did a very quick check on Fugly and I suspect that you are correct about the pashmina being so last year. Indeed their most recent entry is dated April 2006. Of course it might mean that celebrities (whatever they may be darling) have finally worked out how to wear them stylishly, but I wouldn't bet upon that! A l'autre pas I see that Femina dated 1 October 2009 recommends getting the pashmina from your mom's [sic] closet (is that a wardrobe?) and then "Romance a pashmina against a pair of classy drainpipes or that little black dress and you spell instant chic!"
I'll let you know when Morgana, Ulorin Vex, et al start wearing them!

Sorry for the "Edwina-ism" (or possibly Bubble-ism) in A l'autre pas! I meant of course A l'autre part.
Finally tracked down this month's copy of Dazed and Confused. A completely pashmina free issue as far as I can tell (some of the models seem to have lost all of their garments - how careless). I rest my case!
