My favorite flower! And especially welcome on a cold (-11) Monday morning in Maine with a lot more cold mornings due to come!

a simple yarn

What I absolutely loved about the British Isles part of the world was the early appearance of such lovely flowers. Even still it might be too soon for such yellowy beauty, but I know the snowdrops are probably blooming right now.

And it's still so brown in this part of the world!
