Breakfast this morning was Cheddar and mustard soda farls. Some were eaten plain as they come, others were warmed through, split and filled with grilled bacon and tomatoes. Am I making you hungry?
You can find the recipe here, and the only change I made was to replace a quarter of the plain flour with wholemeal.

We were forced to eat freshly baked croissant and pain chocolat from our local cafe this morning.

And me, I haven't had anything to eat yet as I begin my blog reading. A very cruel fate to see something so tantalizing first thing in the morning! What shall I be having...cold cereal? Sigh.

How lovely to wake up to such a warm and comforting Sunday breakfast. It sounds perfect ... though since the over-indulging of the holidays, it's coffee alone for me!

Mmm, they look delishious! We had toast and some whiskey marmarlade, which I made yesterday, and would have been lovely with your farls, yummy!

I think the whole country went for some sort of indulgent quick bread this morning. We had pancakes. Seville oranges are on the marmalade agenda tomorrow if I'm in the mood.
