This must be the grandest sale of work I've ever been to, both in terms of the surroundings - a magnificent seventeenth century house in East Lothian - and the goods themselves: handcrafted items displaying wonderful creativity and workmanship.
From tiny felt dogs with real personality to tailored coats, Liberty Tana Lawn nightdresses, slippers, socks, scarves and shawls, belts and bags, paintings, preserves, patchwork....and much more.
My own small contribution sold for a staggering sum, and it's all in aid of Mindroom, an excellent cause with very grand designs of its own.
Well done Karen, I'm incredibly proud of you.

Who owns that house? It's quite huge and mansion-like. Hehe. It seemed like that event was a dream-come-true. Congrats, btw. :)
PS. I love how the shadow of the grills were caught in that second photo. Who took that?
