It's difficult to get a good picture of a scarf - the dimensions make it tricky, as, in this case, does the yarn which is Kidsilk Haze, meaning there's a halo which can affect the focus.
This is the Airy Scarf from Last-Minute Knitted Gifts, so it was quick to make and is very light and warm, also economical as it took around half a ball (the shade is 599 'Wicked').
In the picture above it's folded, hence the density of the colour, but the simple eyelet pattern shows up in the one below.
And here it is with the latest Cranford Mitts.
Mmmm, Kidsilk Haze, such lovely stuff. Gorgeous scarf, beautifully complimented by the Cranford Mitts.

What a perfect combination!
I am taking tentative steps in lace knitting - thanks for the inspiration.

This is beautiful! The combinations of scarf and mitts is so dark and rich. I love LMKG, I'm knitting Liam a pair of the baby jeans out of that book right now. :0)

The scarf looks so delicate. I have never knitted with such a fine wool but I think I will definitely have a go with the Kidsilk.

Dear Friends of Cornflower, the exquisite mitts and the mass-less scarf have safely made their way down south for what Dark Puss hopes will be an interesting photoshoot. No more from me on this, but look out on Cornflower in a couple of weeks for the results (asuming they are fit to show!)

How pretty. I hadn't seen Kidsilk Haze in that color yet; it's lovely.
