Here's what we were looking at all last week - the Matterhorn - but now we're home and it's good to be back (and all in one piece, too). Proper posts coming up later, I hope, after I've tackled the Swiss mountain-size pile of laundry and other chores which await me.
Last chance to pop your name in the hat for the book draw. Leave a comment on the "Who'd like a book" post below and we'll draw the winner tomorrow.
Beautiful view. Hope that you all had a lovely time....

I guess you've been holidaying in Zermatt and pleased to be safely home - we had a holiday in Cervinia with similar views a year or two ago. How I love that stunning mountain.

Fun looking at the two pictures. Is the Matterhorn catching the setting sun in the second, or rising? For some reason I thought that side faced North.

Gorgeous views! It reminds me of an IMAX film we saw recently called The Alps. Glad you had a nice trip and got some reading time in.

I'm with you. I'd just sit in front of a window with that view, reading my book, and looking up once in a while.
