I saw these Chocolate Chip and Peanut Butter Cookies over on Rebecca's blog the other day and had to try them as the combination of sweetish, mellow chocolate and slightly salty, nutty, peanut butter is one that I love, and as Rebecca says, the inclusion of oats classes them virtually as a health food!
I plan to make a batch for our close friend and fellow blogger Lindsay Bagshaw to sample when he ventures north of the border soon, but of course I had to test them first - after all, I wouldn't like to compromise Lindsay's digestion before we even begin to discuss books..... Our literary tastes don't always coincide, but we mostly agree when it comes to food, and these are very good indeed. Thanks, Rebecca!
Your photo makes the biscuits look so delicious. I have copied down the recipe and hope to make some very soon.

Who's a cruel Cornflower, then, showing me such goodies when I put weight on just looking at pix of food? Oooh, I do rather fancy those brownies, though ... I shall, forthwith, repair to the fridge and much on a stick of celery!

I am delighted that you tried these Karen, it is true, that combination of sweet and salt is a good one.
