Wildlife Gardener

Great photos, as always...looks as if the bulb might be a hyacinth...maybe a blue one?

Charity

Mmmm, I love spring bulbs! Often, at this time of year, when my hubby goes to our local grocery store, he brings me home a little potted bulb. Right now, it's a pink hyacinth. :0)

You've reminded me! I have some crocus bulbs in square glass vases (a Christmas present) in the shed, in the dark, and they might need attention ... I will go and see to them forthwith! Oh, lovely photos as always!

Peg

Have no fear, a bud will soon appear! I bought a little bag of five paper white narcissus bulbs, and I have #4 and #5 currently sitting on the windowsill. I have started forcing them in tall clear vases, and then when they get tall they can 'flop' onto the sides of the vase!
