We've had all sorts of weather here this week: gales, snow, heavy rain and low temperatures. I took these pictures at first light this morning while walking the dogs in the park. The path has been flooded and is now frozen; the trees which edge it are reflected in the ice.

If you haven't already done so, please put your name in the hat for this month's book draw. You'll find all the details here, and you have until tomorrow morning (let's say 10.00 GMT) to enter.
Amazing photo's. You have really captured the cold, frigid and early morning light. I can almost feel myself right there as I sit here at my computer thousnads of miles away on what is here a warm, sunny typical California morning.

What time is your first light? And do the dogs run free or are they on leashes? Are there many others around when you bring them out?

What wonderful photos. I can believe that the path was flooded too - I go to British Military Fitness classes in Inverleith Park and last week it looked more like a swimming pool than anything else. My leopard crawl was more like aquaplaning (though a lot faster than usual with all that surface water...)
