To all who drop in here, a very happy new year!
I'm feeling quite out of touch just now as we've had no internet connection at home for several days and may not be reconnected for several more. I'm writing this on my Mum's computer while being urged by Mr. C. to get a move on as we're about to go for a very wet walk in nearby woods here in Perthshire. Must dash - bye for now!
Happy New Year and thank you for a year of interesting and enjoyable posts.
I was thinking about you last night as we were watching "A fish called Wanda". I had to pause the the DVD and explain to my boyfriend why I was laughing. See what you've done? Right after our midnight toast with champagne and pandoro, I dragged Ben to my computer to show him your Christmas post. I'll never be able to watch Michael Palin again without picturing him sitting on the edge of your Christmas cake, and now he won't either.

Happy New Year to you and yours. We have been off the 'net' as well, but with company here for over 10 days, there was not much time for the computer anyway!
