Apropos the 'Calm' post two days ago, here's where we were walking this afternoon. This is the beach at Gullane in East Lothian, looking out to the North Sea with the coast of Fife on the horizon to the left.
Low tide.
Rock pool.
One man and his dog (Mr. C and Bess).
Wide sky.
Rock-climbing with Harriet is her godfather, better known to many as a man with firm views on interior design. His natural modesty forbids my saying more about him than that!
Beautiful sea-side photos. Massive rocks, but a wonderful background for Harriet and her godfather!
Lovely weather, but a dog would enjoy it there regardless the weather!

I love these photos, especially the low tide shot. Coincidentally, I was shooting pics of the Oregon coast this afternoon. No sandy dogs - well, none of my own.

Oh how gorgeous! I love the rock pool shot; it's so exciting to peek beneath the waves and see that other world. Also, my cousins are of Scottish descent and their last name is Lothian!
