At last, a finished object! Cast on on Saturday, cast off on Monday (and it would have been Sunday evening if I hadn't stopped to watch Michael Palin). I used only one skein of Noro Silk Garden (shade 8 and 4mm needles), so it's a shortish Argosy Scarf,
but at around 36" by 6" it's fine - it can be knotted or secured with a pin.
Now, what shall I make next? (Or should that be 'finish'? - but then I have only three w-i-ps, which isn't bad, is it?)
How about this? http://marniemaclean.com/words/2005/07/loving-my-corset.html

The colors are so beautiful side by side as they are. Lovely. Will you be wearing it? Do you have a coat that matches or will you "have" to go out and get a new one??

Thanks for posting the finished scarf. It is so beautiful. You will feel a million dollars wearing that beautiful piece. I am green with envy.

Beautiful scarf! Three works in progress - from what I read on some blogs, they would think you are a 'slacker'. But, I am with you, and I only have three at the most at any time.

Very nice and so quick too.

Oh it's gorgeous, very quick work indeed. It will look beautiful with a brooch or pin and light enough to wear indoors, I bet you get lots of compliments when you wear it.

That's a fun little scarf and it looks like it was a fun knit, too. Small projects are good for the knitting soul. What with UFOs and WIPs and life getting in the way, it's good to sneak in a finished object in a weekend.
