For what feels like weeks now, we've been blanketed by the east coast haar and drenched by relentless rain. Though I love the latter, I'm not so keen on the former, and when the sun has crept out for odd moments it's had a transforming quality about it.
Humble vegetables on the kitchen counter look very different with this sort of illumination!
