I am late posting today as we had friends to lunch - a chance to cook more imaginatively (and eat more) than we'd normally do in the middle of the day and the week, and an excuse to sit much longer over a meal.
Cooking preparations were quite leisurely as we had a variation on Venetian chicken, so the bird went into the oven at breakfast time, cooking slowly until needed. It fell off the bone and into a pan of rice where it was mixed with its cooking juices, toasted pine nuts, sultanas soaked in sherry and lots of flat leaf parsley.
Of course we had to follow a relatively restrained main course with a far from modest pudding, so I made Nigella's Molten Chocolate Babycakes again.
And after all that, I've just been asked, "What's for supper, Mum?"
The chicken sounds mouthwatering - where can I find the recipe?

Yum! Could you share quantities required in the recipe, and also exactly how you did the chicken? Please!
All this reminds me that I must go out and plant the little parsley seedlings I bought into the garden!

My sentiments exactly re recipe. Here we are being tantalised by the photos and nary a recipe to be found. Now that's cruel, Karen! :-) So, will there be another post to follow at some point, hmmmm?

I was just wondering what to make for dinner. How tempting your chicken sounds! I do hope you will share the recipe. No matter what I end up making tonight, I will be thinking of your chicken.
[And being unhappy with my meal.]

Hoping the answer to "what's for supper, mum?" was "take away," spoken from a comfortable chair.
