I think it was Peg (it was you, wasn't it, Peg?) who was making the Branching Out Scarf, the pattern for which you can find here, and which prompted me to have a go at another lace project. Despite my best intentions, I was late getting to this and with the clock ticking, it had to be done in double quick time ready for A Big Day.
Happily, it was finished, blocked, wrapped and ready to be handed over this morning (with a few other surprises) to say "Happy Birthday" to my Mum!
(This took about half a ball of Rowan Kidsilk Haze, shade 592 Heavenly, on 5.5mm needles).
The birthday girl likes it!
It's truly a lovely scarf and Kidsilk Haze is a wonderful yarn.
