These lilies are one of my most favourite flowers! Thanks for sharing. :0)

Lilies - beautiful! Are those scented?
My first job in the flower shop where I met my DH was to take the stamens out of the Easter Lilies so that they would not be stained. I have some t-shirts that are stained from brushing against the lilies in my garden!

Ali

I can smell them from here! Lovely photos.

I am Les's mother, and lurk in her blog and others from time to time. On my seventyth birthday my husband, sister and brother-in-law and I spent the day in Edinburgh enjoying a wonderfully sunny day seeing all the sights. My ancestors came from a tiny place that we discovered later near Glasgow. We found the old farm - Torfoot - and spoke to the new owners, who were refurbishing the place. "Torfoot" - must be at the bottom of a tor, but there didn't seem to be one nearby.

Your photos are beautiful. You have a wonderful eye for color and composition.
