Just as I was on the point of shutting down the computer and heading to bed last night, in came a surprise email. I was delighted to see that Peter Y. Sussman, the editor of Jessica Mitford's letters, had got in touch. You can read his comment here, and visit his own website, but do read the book as well: it is wonderful, spirit-lifting stuff, and thanks to Peter's hard work its 700+ pages will keep me going for a good while.

It's so nice when an author drops in. I had that happen just last week after I mentioned Kevin Sessums's book 'Mississippi Sissy.' He graciously consented to answer a few questions for me, so I'll be posting the interview after he sends back his answers.
The Mitford book sounds lovely. Will have to have a look around for it.

I have put in a request for Decca! I did not check to see its length, but 700+ pages - might just have to peruse some of it! Anyway, I will give it a try and let you know what I think!
