Great idea! As always, lovely pictures.I'm sure it is a wonderful book choice cos you seem to read the sort of books I like!

dovegreyreader

Me me me me me of course!
The pleasure I've had from all this has been immense Karen and so I must contribute to your enjoyment of it too!

Julie

And me! What lovely lovely pictures!

Helen

Put my name down too - just as long as it isn't one of the books I've already bought because you recommended it :)

Mary Ronan Drew

You left a comment on my blog and so I tracked back here. What a marvelous blog you have! Food, dogs, knitting, books, gardening, and photographs of all of these to make one's mouth water.

Oh, and do put me in for the drawing. I've sent a friend a book this week, but in April I'll have a drawing like yours and dove's.

Janet

I love your blog. The colors are fantaxtic. I am intrigued by the books you have mentioned because I am unfamiliar with them. You are welcome to come visit me. I am going to check out these books.

Charity

It's always so interesting to see what others read - another thing I love about blogging! I had never read Alexander Mccall Smith until I heard about him on a blog, and now I'm working my way through. :0)

Nan

I would have left a comment even if my name wasn't going to go in the hat.:<) I love that picture. I want to be in that room, I want the room to be in my house! Where did you find it? In a book? I find myself wondering what pages the books on the table are open to. There's so much to look at and ponder. Thanks for posting it.

I echo Nan's comment. I love the picture of the room full of books. Reminds me a bit of myself. I do most of my reading on our living couch, surrounded by my favorite books. You may add my name to your hat. I need to get in on the giving end of this next time around.

I'm so sorry for the double post. I was looking for it at the bottom of the list and didn't see it at the top! I thought maybe it got lost in the ether. I wasn't being greedy. Honest! ;)

margaret

What lovely illustrations-Ican't resist entering the competition.
Please pick out my name.

Count me in, Cornflower. I have a wonderful read that I would be happy to send anywhere in the world as well! Such a good idea and the sled that the two little people are on (one with a beautiful burgundy coat and hat) is exactly like one I used to use as a child, and we called it 'coasting'!

Peter the flautist

I would like to be added to the draw - although our tastes in books often differ, your opinions are always highly valued.

Mary

Please, I'd love have my name added to the drawing list.
I do not blog BUT I love to read blogs (knitting, cooking, reading and gardening).
Mary

Carol

Me too please. You and the DGR make me want to knit and I haven't for years! Plus love all the book talk.

Anna

Please could you include me in the draw too. Have discovered your blog recently via Dove Grey Reader and have thoroughly enjoyed the visits I have made.
Would also like to know the origin of the picture of the reading girl.

Sandy Lorenz

My 11 year old loves these pictures. I hope we are the luck of the draw.

Janet

I love the picture of the girl in the room full of books too. Your pictures are wonderful. I'd love to be counted in the drawing.

Deborah

What beautiful pictures! And what a great idea to do this from your blog.

Kimmy

I hope I'm not too late. If not, count me in! Thanks;-)

Lucette

Please add my name to the draw also. I have been enjoying your blog for a while and love the photos of your life.

natalie

Oooh add me to this, if I'm not too late. I might do it too.

Alison

WHat a wonderful idea - please count me in! I've just found your blog (through Fidra Books) and have really enjoyed dipping in here and there. Though think I might have to go and make cake having read the baking section...Orange and almond cake made with blood oranges and then with lemon syrup over the top...

Sara

Love to be included, thanks. I've been enjoying getting introduced to all these women-written "lit-blogs" through one of my clients, thenovelette.com ; come by and check it out sometime!
