Stats are just sooo exciting though. Everyone here is so fed up with it "Guess how many hits I've had today then, go on guess"
"oh....6543"
"No don't be silly, guess properly"

Francesca

You crack me up. I know exactly what you mean, though, cuz I check my stats, too, and get excited when I see a new country that wasn't there before.
When you get your white cat, don't forget to get also an appropriate ring for your "stroke the kitty while I plot world domination" pictures. ;)

I am not sure how to 'check my stats' nor sure if I want to! I know I often go to a blog and never comment, so I am sure lots of people come to mine and don't comment.
Nice to see just where you blog from. This is my DH's desk, so I would not even think of taking photos!

You just never know where your blog will be read. I sent the permalink of the photo of your periwinkle socks to my step-daughter near Boston, who is a knitter, and it turned out she had made the same socks from the same pattern out of the same book, in a different color.

This is so funny as I'm an obsessive stat checker! I find myself minimizing my "Stats" page at work, popping it up intermittently "just to check." To check for WHAT, is the question, as it's not like the fate of the world is hinging on it, but still...

By the way, is that a Wengen, Switzerland postcard I see?? I've been to Wengen! We went there one day while staying in Lauterbrunnen, on our honeymoon 500 years ago. Isn't it gorgeous there?

Who is the lovely lady gazing out from behind the paperweights ?
