Sometimes I bemoan the lack of leisure time which seems to be a feature of a busy family life, but last night we were able to enjoy a quiet hour or two in front of the fire. While Gareth had Robin Lane Fox's "The Classical World" to entertain him, I had a book, some good chocolate and a (cashmere) sock to knit -
some people might say I live only for pleasure....
This morning a box arrived in the post from The ChocolateTasting Club, so you can guess what I'll be doing tonight, given half a chance.
That sounds like a perfect evening! I've never knit with cashmere, but I can imagine cashmere socks must be the ultimate luxury! :0)

Your evenings sound cosy indeed! How inviting your fire looks and as for those chocolates -- a look at their site revealed the most wonderful delicacies! Oooh, Marc de Champagne, Griotte Deluxe, Apricot Brandy Truffle.....and just imagine that Chocolate Pud!
